State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the Probationary Officers (PO) recruitment notification on April 21st. The SBI PO 2020 is scheduled to be conducted for recruitment of a total of 2000 candidates. The exam of SBI PO 2020 to be held in online mode two phases – Preliminary and Mains. The Preliminary exam of SBI PO 2020 is scheduled to be held in multiple sessions on 1st, 7th & 8th July 2020.

Candidates who will qualify in SBI PO 2020 preliminary exam will be shortlisted to appear for mains exam and candidates who will qualify the mains will be subsequently called for a group exercise & interview.

Candidates who are Graduate in any stream and between 21 and 30 years of age as on April 1st, 2020 are eligible to fill the application form of SBI PO 2020.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates applying for SBI PO 2020 exam should fulfill the necessary eligibility criteria as per Nationality, Age and Educational Qualification.
Nationality: Only Indian Citizens can apply.

Age Limit: The candidate must be 21 Years to 30 Years as on 01.04.2020 i.e. candidates must have been born between 02.04.1988 and 01.04.1997 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they must produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.07.2020. Candidates with Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.07.2020. Candidates with Chartered Accountant certification may also apply.

Emoluments and Salary Structure:

Presently, the starting basic pay is Rs. 27,620/- (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of Rs.23700-980/7- 30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.

The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

The total compensation per annum on CTC basis would be a minimum of Rs. 7.93 lacs and maximum of Rs 12.95 lacs depending on the place of posting and other factors.

SBI PO 2020 Selection Procedur

SBI PO selection procedure has 3 steps which is mention below:

Step 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) (100 Marks)
Step 2: Main Examination (Objective Type – 200 Marks) (Descriptive Type – 50 Marks)
Step 3: Group Discussion & Interview (50 Marks)
Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Exam would be Objective type for 100 marks & will be conducted online. Exam will have 3 sections such as (1) English Language, (2) Quantitative Aptitude and (3) Reasoning Ability. Duration of exam would be 1 hour (20 mins for each section).

Preliminary examination is an objective type exam.
Total marks of the exam are 100.
Exam would be conducted online.
Duration of Exam would be 1 hour (20 mins for each section).
There is no sectional cut-off for this year's SBI PO Examination
Prelims exam consist of 3 sections such as (1) English Language, (2) Quantitative Aptitude and (3) Reasoning Ability.
There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Main Exam: The Main Exam would be both Objective & Descriptive type for 250 marks & will be conducted online. Exam will have 4 sections such as (1) Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, (2) Data Analysis and Interpretation, (3) General Economics & Banking Awareness (4) English Language. Duration of exam would be 3 hour.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer (only for objective type questions).
Those candidates who qualify the main exam will be called for the GD & Interview Round.
