What is CUET (UG)-2023?

National Testing Agency is going to conduct the Undergraduate entrance tests for all the Central Universities (CUs) for the academic session 2023-2023.

This exam is called Common University Entrance Test CUET (UG)- 2023 and CUET will provide a single window opportunity to students to seek admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) across the country with just single Application Form. CUET actually is the result of National Education Policy which states that higher education admission process should be based on Common Entrance Exam.

What was the need of the CUET?

There was the perception out there that different boards have different questions patterns and marking system so students during admission in Universities don’t have level play field.

In recent times a tendency was seen where students were taking extreme steps due to poor marks in boards exams. CUET will hunt down all these nuisances.

Students not need to write long answers for evaluation. Just MCQs type questions where checking will be done by non-biased technology.

Students don’t need to study something else for the CUET; the whole exam is based on till 12th class syllabus. In fact CUET will strength the preparation of board exams.

How different background students would get the level play?

NTA has taken the great care of all the background students be it CBSE, NIOS, ICSE or state boards.
