RRB PO Mains Exam Pattern
The RRB PO Mains exam is the second phase of the selection test and the level of the questions asked in the same is tough as compared to the preliminary exam.
- The Mains exam will have five subjects i.e. Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability, General Awareness, English/Hindi, and Computer Awareness
- Each subject will account for 40 questions and the total number of questions will be 200.
- For each correct answer, they will get 1 mark and there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers.
- The total duration to complete the test will be 2 hours, and the marking scheme in this exam will be similar to the preliminary exam.

General Awareness
Most of the questions asked in the General Awareness section were from current affairs. Around 25 to 30 questions asked in the examinations were from this section and were of moderate to difficult level. The static portion of the General Awareness section had around 8-10 questions which were again moderate to difficult levels. While the remaining questions of this section were from banking awareness topics.
Computer Knowledge
The questions in this section were moderate and were based on the history of computers, basic concepts related to the subject i.e. Application, MS Office, etc.
