The Staff Selection Commission has finally released the SSC CHSL Cut Off Marks 2018 for the candidates who have participated in the same. The commission has released the official notification for the CHSL 2018 of SSC in 2019 itself. The preliminary examination was conducted in July 2019 while the descriptive paper was held in November 2019. The final result of the same has been announced now by the commission and the candidates can check the same to know if they have qualified the same or not. The candidates who are finally selected in any of the posts will be required to appear for the Document Verification round that will be conducted in July 2021.

What’s Next After SSC CHSL 2018 Results are Declared?

Once the result of SSC CHSL 2018 Result is declared the candidates will be required to appear for the document verification round. In this round, a panel appointed by the commission will cross verify the documents of the candidates and check if they are eligible for the aforesaid post. The list of the documents that a candidate is required to carry with him can be checked in the space below:

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern

The candidates who wish to work as DEO / PA / SA under any of the Central Ministries will be required to qualify the different stages of the exam pattern of the SSC CHSL as mentioned in the space below:
 

SSC CHSL Tier 1: Computer Based Test

As per the official notification, the first phase of the selection process is Tier 1 and is an online written test exam, it has to be qualified by the candidates to reach the next level of the recruitment process:

• The Tier 1 written exam will be conducted computer-based and the questions in the same will be MCQ based.

• The written test will have four sections i.e. Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General English, and General Awareness.

• As per the marking scheme, the candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer marked while there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.

• The total duration of the Tier 1 exam will be 60 minutes for the candidates. However, the candidates who are physically disabled will be getting 20 minutes extra to complete the test.

SSC CHSL Tier 2: Descriptive Paper

The SSC CHSL Tier 2 will be a descriptive paper and the candidates will be required to appear for the same in the pen and paper mode. In this exam, the candidates will get questions based on two topics i.e. One Essay and One Letter, and the candidates will be required to write the answers on the sheet provided by the commission. The candidates will get 30 minutes to complete the test. The minimum qualifying marks for the Descriptive Paper will be 33% marks for all the candidates.
 

SSC CHSL Skill Test

The last stage of the selection process will be the Skill Test and it is the final round of the selection process. Through this stage, the commission checks if the candidate is equipped with the basic skills to work as per the criteria mentioned for the skill test of a particular category. The total duration to complete the SSC CHSL Skill test is 15 minutes and it is only qualifying in nature.
