RRB PO Preliminary 2022 is round the corner, and the examination will commence any time soon. RRB PO Preliminary Exam Pattern
As per the official notification released by the bank, the RRB PO Preliminary exam will be conducted in August 2022. The authorities have released the RRB PO Admit Card 2022 on the official website. The candidates can check out the exam pattern of the preliminary examination as mentioned below:
- The Preliminary examination is the first stage of the selection process and is qualifying in nature. It is conducted in Computer Based Test mode.
- As per the official notification, the preliminary exam of the RRB PO, there will be only two subjects in the examination namely i.e. Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative aptitude
- There will be a total of 80 questions accounting for 80 marks and the number of questions will be different for each subject.
- As per the marking scheme, 1 mark will be provided to every correct answer while there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.

RRB PO Preliminary Previous Year Cut Off Marks
The selection of a candidate in the RRB PO Preliminary Exam is based on the cut-off marks scored released by the bank for a particular state. If the marks scored by the candidate are equivalent to or more than the cut-off marks then he is sent to the next stage of the selection process i.e. RRB PO Mains. The cut-off list is drawn state-wise and there are only overall cut-off marks, the bank does not keep the sectional cut-off. However, it is not easy to score high marks and hence the candidates need to follow the RRB PO Mock Tests to practise well before the examination.
