About the Exam:

Intelligence Bureau- Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (IB ACIO) Examination is going to be conducted by the Home Ministry. The notification for the same has been released on 18th December 2020 by the Home Ministry (MHA). Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade II/ Executive i.e. ACIO-II / Exe in IB, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria for IB ACIO 2021

Graduation or equivalent from a recognized university. The age limit of the applicants has been set between 18 to 27 years.

Desirable: Knowledge of Computers.

IB ACIO Exam Pattern 2021

The IB ACIO selection process consists of three stages. The written examinations are conducted online, followed by an interview round. The first phase consists of Online preliminary exam and Descriptive Exam. Online preliminary exam consists of 100 questions, which is divided into five sections of 20 questions each. The descriptive exam consists of essay writing and precise writing.

IB ACIO Salary

Pay Scale Level-7 (Rs 44,900/- - Rs 1,42,400/-) in the pay matrix plus admissible central govt allowances
 
In addition to the basic pay, the candidate is allowed to the following benefit:

(i) Special Seciruty Allowance @20% of basic pay in addition to other govt allowances

(ii) Cash compensation in lieu of duty performed on holidays subject to a ceiling of 30 days.
