IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2022

Nationality

 
The candidate must fulfil the following criteria as mentioned in the space below:
 
• a Citizen of India or
 
• a subject of Nepal or
 
• a subject of Bhutan or
 
• a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
 
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, • Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
 

Age Limit

 
The basic age limit for the candidates who belong to unreserved candidates is 21 years to 28 years. While the candidates who are from the reserved category will get the following age relaxation as mentioned in the table below:

Educational Qualification

 
The candidates willing to apply for IBPS Clerk should be a Graduate from a recognised University in any of the disciplines. There is no mention of minimum aggregate marks for candidates of any category.
