RBI Assistant 2022 Notification Out


RBI Assistant 2022 Exam notification is out now. The exam is going to be conducted on 27th March to fill 950 vacancies. Selection for the post will be through a country-wide competitive examination in two phases i.e. Preliminary and Main examination followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The candidates have to excel the same with high marks to get placed with the central bank of the country i.e. RBI. The notification can be downloaded from the official site - https://www.rbi.org.in.

RBI Preliminary Exam Pattern


The RBI Preliminary Exam is the first stage of the selection process and is held in the computer-based mode. As per the previous year notification, the exam has three subjects and the exam level is similar to any other government bank exam:

RBI Assistant Salary


RBI Assistants command a handsome salary. The basic pay drawn by an RBI Assistant is ? 14650/- per month (i.e. ? 13150 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). The pay scale 13150-750 (3)-15400- 900(4) -19000-1200(6)-26200-1300 (2)-28800- 1480(3) – 33240 – 1750 (1)- 34990. Other benefits are provided to the RBI assistants like the house rent allowance, transport allowance, dearness allowance, compensatory city allowance, etc. The current initial monthly emoluments of an RBI Assistant is Rs. 36,091.
