What is CU-CET?

Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) is an entrance exam conducted for admission in various central and state universities under several Integrated, Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. CU-CET is being held in all over India organized by various Central Universities. It provides a golden opportunity to the students to seek admission in these participating universities across the country.

 

What are the participating Central Universities in the CU-CET 2022?

CU-CET 2021 was successfully conducted for admissions in various UG and PG courses in 12 Central Universities.

As per the official websites over 41 Central Universities including DU, JNU, and BHU will be the part of CU-CET 2022.

 

What programmes are offered in these Universities?

In the year 2021 over 60 courses for UG programme and over 300 courses for PG programme were offered by the participating Universities.

As far as 2022 is concerned, Since number of participating Universities has been increased it is estimated that over 400 PG and over 100 UG courses will be offered by these universities

 

What will be the nature of the question paper of CU-CET?

All Question Papers will be of MCQ based consisting of: -

For UI & PG Programmes:

I. Part A: English Language, General Awareness, Mathematical aptitude and Analytical skills – comprising of 25 MCQs

II. Part B: Domain Knowledge – comprising of 75 MCQs.

Part B may consist of three/four/five sections.

Each section will have 25 questions. A candidate is required to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions).

Note: For Admission to some Integrated Programme like, MBA, MCA, or any other general Programme, only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs covering English language, reasoning, data interpretations/numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held.

 

What is the medium of the paper of CU-CET 2021?

The medium of CBT based paper is Only English (other than the language courses).

As far as 2022 is concerned, CU-CET will be held in 12 languages, i.e. Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and Punjabi.

 

Can I submit two application forms for two courses at a time?

As per their eligibility candidates can apply for multiple courses but multiple applications for similar course will lead to cancellation of their application.

 

Can I apply for CU-CET after 12th?

Yes, You can apply for Undergraduate Courses through CU-CET for admission in various Central and State Universities.

 

Will CU-CET be organised in 2022?

Yes, CU-CET will be conducted every year for admissions in various UG and PG programmes in various Central and State Universities. Application forms of which will be tentatively released in March 2022.

 

How can I apply for CU-CET exam 2022?

CU-CET exam application forms will be released tentatively in March 2022.

Candidates can apply for CU-CET 2022 through official website i.e. “cucet.nta.nic.in”.

 

How do I study for CU-CET?

You can start you preparation for CU-CET in two parts. i.e. for Part A and Part B.

Yes, from the academic year 2021 the programmes offered by JNU under UG and PG courses will be held through CU-CET.

 

Can droppers give CU-CET?

Absolutely! Droppers are allowed to give CU-CET.

 

What could be the good score in CU-CET?

Safe score for CU-CET is completely based on the subjects chosen by the candidates.

For each of the courses offered by the Universities a cut-off score is published on the official website of CU-CET. Candidates are advised to check their respective subjects or courses cut-off marks for their preparation.

 

What could be exam level of CU-CET?

The level of CU-CET exam is in between Easy to Moderate. Candidates can crack this exam in their very first attempt with dedicated preparation for which Testzone stands strong with each and every candidate to crack this exam in their very first attempt.

Is there Maths in CU-CET exam?

Yes, In Part A Numerical ability will be asked in which out of 25 questions approximately 8-9 questions are from Maths section.

 

Is CU-CET easy or hard in comparison to JEE exam?

Difficulty level of CU-CET exam is bit similar to JEE exam since both these exams are of national level or somewhere the difficulty level of CU-CET is much higher than JEE exam since it also consists the PG courses while JEE is for UG course.

 

Is NCERT enough for CU-CET exam?

Yes, studying NCERTs of class 11th and 12th thoroughly are enough for preparing CU-CET exam.
